From our small family studio in Sydney, we create clothing for those who appreciate the quiet details. We are not a factory, we are family run, small business located in Sydney Australia. 

The search for the middle ground led us here. Like many, we found our wardrobes caught between two extremes: the uninspired anonymity of plain mass-market shirts and the loud, often poorly made graphic tees found in shops and online.

We wanted something different.

We wanted a shirt that felt substantial, featured a design that whispered rather than shouted, and carried the tactile weight of genuine craft.

Every design in our collection is an original piece of art, drawn and digitized in-house before it ever touches a needle. We have chosen to move away from the traditional retail model of bulk production. Instead, we operate as a true stitch-to-order workshop. This means that when you select a piece, it is prepared, framed, and embroidered specifically for you.

Quality is a matter of honesty. We only use premium AS Colour shirts, which are known for their consistent fit and durable mid-weight cotton. we provide a canvas worthy of our work. Our machine embroidery is precise and robust, ensuring that a Round Door Workshop shirt remains a staple of your wardrobe through years of wear and washing.

We use a backing on our embroidery for stability. We hand cut close to the design and use a quality black stabilizer to match our darker coloured shirts. Threads are neatly trimmed and the stabilizer will soften after the couple of washes.
